In April 2009 Stirling formed a joint venture with NRF Healthcare Management, LLC (“NHM”), a subsidiary of NorthStar Realty Finance Corp. (NYSE: NRF), to jointly pursue financial advisory and private capital raising engagements with health care and specialty finance companies. NHM was founded by experienced health care operations and financial professionals. NHM currently owns 96 health care related real estate assets and manages more than $200 million of invested equity for two institutional investors.
